India's star men's doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty captured their maiden Singapore Open crown after producing a spirited comeback victory against Indonesia's Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Shohibul Fikri in the final of the BWF Super 750 tournament on Sunday.

The former world No. 1 duo recovered after losing the opening game to defeat the Indonesian pair 18-21, 21-17, 21-16 in a thrilling contest that lasted one hour and 13 minutes.

Satwik and Chirag, who have established themselves as one of India's most successful badminton partnerships, showed remarkable resilience and composure under pressure to turn the match around. After dropping the first game, the Indian duo raised their intensity and dominated key moments in the next two games to seal the title.

The victory marks their first tournament triumph in two years and adds another milestone to their impressive career. It is their ninth BWF World Tour title overall and their third Super 750 crown.

The Asian Games and Commonwealth Games gold medallists have consistently been among the world's top doubles pairs, and the Singapore Open title is expected to boost their confidence ahead of upcoming major international competitions.

Their latest success further highlights India's growing strength in international badminton and reinforces Satwik and Chirag's status as one of the country's premier sporting partnerships.
