Rising Spanish star Pau Cubarsí has been ruled out of the UEFA Nations League quarterfinal second leg after sustaining an ankle injury during Spain’s 2-2 draw against the Netherlands. The 18-year-old center-back, who has shown immense promise for both Spain and Barcelona, was forced off the pitch before halftime. Medical assessments confirmed that Cubarsí will not be fit for Sunday’s crucial return leg in Valencia.
