Olympic wrestler Vinesh Phogat’s planned return to competitive wrestling after nearly 20 months has been overshadowed by a dispute with the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI). Phogat has alleged that administrative barriers are being deliberately placed in her path ahead of the National Open Ranking tournament scheduled for next month. The federation, however, has rejected these claims, stating that the registration process is governed by official timelines.
